My computer prints just fine (MAC). Neither my phone nor my iPad will successfully connect to the printer using the Canon Print app and following the online instructions. For both devices starting from a fresh installation of Canon Print, I search for the printer. It finds the printer. It asks if I want to use a "temporary WiFi network" and I say yes. It then flashes that is has connected to the printer (and it found it to begin with). It goes into some sort of setup mode and errors out, fails to connect finally to the printer. Seems like there is a glitch in the Canon Print program. But Canon want me to pay $20 to talk to an agent who might just tell me "It Won't work" or "we're working on it" or some other such baloney. I don't see any way to open a case with Canon and I guess if you buy a $100 printer, your not entitled to any sort of support, except this. I think I had my iPhone (now deceased) successfully connected after a long battle with the confusing online instructions and maybe an upgrade or two.
So does Canon respond on these posts? Or are we all on our own to help each other out? Anyone else faced this issue? solved it?
