Scrambled lcd and scan

My Mx300 suddenly started to show mixed up words on the lcd. When
I finally got it to copy something the image was 180o from where I placed it on the paten. It scanned the lower part of the page instead of the top and printed it upside down. Very strange. I tried to factory reset the printer but it didn’t correct the problem

Hello.

Try unplugging the power from the unit for about 25-30 minutes.  Once this has been done, plug the unit back in and power it on to see if the LCD display appears normally.
