Scanning issue with wireless PIXMA MX439

I have never had any issue scanning wirelessly before.  Suddenly today, the printer will start scanned then I get a pop up that says:

Cannot communicate with scanner for these reasons:

Scanner is turned off

It is disconnected from LAN

Signal Strength is poor due to obstruction

Network connection is prohibited by security software

Different scanner on the network is selected

Printer is in use or error occured

I also got error codes 2, 157, 50

None of the issues highlighted is going on.  I am using a wireless connection that is strong and unobstructed.  The security software is allowing the connection and I only have one printer.  What could possibly be causing this?

Have you tried turning your router/wi-fi access point off then on again (power cycling)? Possibly even try turning off the wireless router, then unplugging your printer - then turn the router back on, re-plug the printer and (if necessary) turn the printer on again.

I have a Linksys router that randomly finds itself unable to connect with things, requiring that I power-cycle it.
