Responding but not printing

MG5420 printer is responding, but does not print. It give an error message but it does not have an error code. When I press the home button on the printer, the home screen does not appear. Only 1/3, 2/3 and 3/3 appear.

Hi EC,

Please turn off the printer, unplug the power cord and leave it out for at least 10 minutes, then plug it back in and turn it back on.  If you still receive an error, please let us know the exact text of the error.  If you still only see the 1/3, 2/3 and 3/3 display when pressing the HOME button, the printer will require servicing.  Please call or email us at one of the methods on the Contact Us page to obtain your servicing options.
