I have a Pixma MX860 that's nine years old and has failed. Sicne it's not worth it for me to repair, I replaced it. Now, I'd like to remove the hard drive before I recycle it. Can someone verify that it does have a hard drive? And, if so, where can I find it?

Hi baradanikto,
The PIXMA MX860 does not have an internal hard drive. It does have an internal memory, but no previous prints, scans or faxes are saved in its memory.

Thanks for your reply. So, can I assume that the printer uses internal board memory rather than a hard drive? Can you point me to a data sheet?
