Printing is missing gaps

seitandrew

Please help

My Canon MX922 has been working great until yesterday when it started having this printing issues.  When I attempt to print a picture or a document there are strange gaps.  I attempted to align the cartridges clean the rollers but neither has helped.

I printed the document using wifi from my computer and I also put the document onto a thumbstick to print directly from the printer without any improvement.

I scanned a printout and am including a link to view it below

Thanks

I can access your scan. I had a very similar issue (black only, colors were fine) with my MG5320. I had been using 3rd party ink tanks for some time before the issue arose. I removed the ink tanks & set the print head in a shallow dish of Windex for about 3 hours. After a head cleaning & test page, printing (with a Canon ink tank) was back to normal.
