Printer prints images but no text

 On newly installed iP4600 printer, it prints graphic images OK, but will not print text.  This is true for MS Word, Excel, Gmail, etc.  I used a printer driver downloaded from the Canon website.

To troubleshoot the issue, we will first want to ensure that the inkjet nozzles are dispensing the ink correctly by printing a nozzle check pattern.  Please follow the steps located at the following link to print a nozzle check pattern:

If the nozzle check pattern did not print correctly, please reply with what operating system is on your computer and we will provide print head cleaning instructions.
