Hello!

So that the Community can help you better, we will need to know exactly what model printer you're using (it's usually on the top or front of the unit), any error messages you're seeing, and the Computer Operating System you're using (Windows Vista/7/8/10 or macOS 10.x), as well as the way you connect to your device (USB or WiFi).

Any other details you'd like to give will only help the Community better understand your issue!

my printer keep showing error in my queue

Hi, Rdupree909!

We need to know exactly which printer in the PIXMA TR7500 series you have.  You'll find the model number at the lower right corner of the printer's operation panel.  That's the panel with the buttons and LCD screen on it.

Also, if you could please let us know exactly what the error message says, that would really help us all out.

We look forward to your reply!

This seems to be a Windows issue more so than the printer itself. The following should help solve the problem, re-installing the print drivers should not be necessary, we can hope so anyway.

Troubleshooting Canon TR7500 Series Printer Error

If your Canon TR7500 Series printer is displaying an "error" status in the print queue, follow these steps to resolve the issue.

Restart the Printer Spooler Service

One effective method to fix the error is to restart the Printer Spooler service on your computer. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Open Services: Type "services" in the search box on your computer.
  2. Locate Print Spooler: Find "Print Spooler" in the list of services.
  3. Restart the Service:
    • Right-click on "Print Spooler."
    • Select "Restart."

Additional Steps to Consider

If restarting the Printer Spooler does not resolve the issue, consider these additional troubleshooting steps:

  • Check Printer Connection: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your computer and powered on.
  • Clear Print Queue: Cancel any stuck print jobs in the queue. You can do this by right-clicking on your printer in the Devices and Printers section and selecting "See what’s printing," then choosing "Cancel All Documents."
  • Reinstall Printer Driver: If the problem persists, reinstalling the printer driver may help. Visit the Canon support page to download the latest driver for your model.
