Everytime I plug in my printer to my desktop it says that the usb evice can not be recognized, can someone please help me with this.

Have u try to download the new driver for your printer?
U should do that, download the driver from canon website or mine

Hello.
The issue may be related to the USB cable or the connection itself.
Check to make sure that the USB cable is going straight to your computer. Avoid using USB hubs or other extension devices. If the issue persists, try using a different cable that is six feet or shorter.
