PIXMA Print Plan, new Canon account shows no registered products

Ad97
Apprentice

Hello:

I had a PIXMA Print Plan on my old Canon account that I canceled. I created a new Canon account because I wanted the printer and subscription on the new account. The old account now shows the old plan as cancelled and a new active plan enrolled on 8 13 26 for the same TS3722, serial number <removed per forum guidelines>. My new Canon account shows no registered products. I need the active subscription and printer moved to my new Canon account. There is also a Welcome Kit for PG-275/CL-276 that was created today 8 14 2026. I want to call but the hours dont permit me to do so since I work. Please help

Hi Ad97! Thanks for contributing to the Canon community. I see that you are unable to set up a subscription to your printer on a new account after cancelling the subscription from an older account.

When you cancel a plan, the subscription does not officially cancel until the end of the billing cycle. For example, if your billing cycle is from August 3 to September 3, and you cancel the plan on August 5, the plan does not officially cancel until September 3. You will need to wait until September 3 before you try to enroll the printer under the new Canon account.

You should also make sure that you are logged into the new account when you go to subscribe the printer (once the billing cycle has ended and you are ready to enroll the printer in the new account). Some browsers will automatically log you into your old account when you open them. To find out which account you are logged in, you can open the Canon website (usa.canon.com), click on your name in the top right corner, and select My Account from the menu that appears. If you find out you are in the old account, you'll need to log out of it, and then log into the new account.

Once you are in the new account, please make sure that the printer is registered. You should see it in the main page of your Canon account, under My registered products. If you are not sure if you are looking at the page that shows your registered products, please click on My Account in the left column.

If your printer is registered to that account, you can click on My subscriptions in the left column, and then click on the See My Printer option below the PIXMA Print Plan (second option). In the next window, you should see your printer. To the right of it, there should be an Enroll Now button that you can click on to enroll the printer (assuming that you have waited until the end of the bill cycle and the printer's subscription has fully been cancelled from the previous account).

If this information does not help, I recommend calling Canon. I do understand that you have a hard time due to work hours. Canon is open from 9 AM to 6 PM. Eastern Time. As long as you call in and get placed on hold before 6 PM, your call will be answered by the first available agent.

Thank you for replying! So yesterday i was able to call and they cancelled the second plan that i had done after (what i thought) was cancelling the first one completely so now they’re both cancelled & both are in the old account
The first one says

Enrollment Date:08/12/2026
Cost$4.49 Per Month
Pages Included30 Pages

and the second one that i just cancelled says

Plan: Basic Monthly Plan cancellation in effect 09/13/2026

Cost

$4.49 Per Month

Pages Included

30 pages

Enrollment Date:

08/13/2026

Next Billing Date:

Additional Details:

Your subscription cancellation was successful and will be effective at the end of your billing cycle, 09/13/2026. You will continue to be charged for any overages from your current plan. No ink cartridges will be sent after 08/17/26)

why does this second one actually say that its gonna get cancelled within a month (september) and the first one doesnt say any of that?i think thats one of the reasons why i got confused too because i thought the first subscription ended right away..
