Pixma mg3620 smudged black printing

Hello. I have a weird issue with my printer , it started printing smudged but in blocks. It prints ok for couple of lines then next couple of lines are smudged . Did all the troubleshooting like nozzle check and deep cleaning of head. I am attaching the nozzle check pattern result and also illustrating the actual printing. Can anyone help me what is the issue here? Thank you

Since the nozzle cleanings did not resolve the issue, try cleaning the encoder strip using the steps HERE.

If the prints keep having smudges, the printer would require service. 

If the printer is in it's 1 year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.
