I have a Pixma IP8720 printer that has stopped printing black. My ink is full, I tried the cleaning procedures for the printer head with no success and then purchased a new printer head. The printer will still not print black. It will print color. In researching a fix it turns out that this problem with Pixma printers not printing black is a known problem across the Pixma line of printers and not just my model. Canon customer service won't help if the printer is over 1 year old. They switch you over to a repair number for a technician after getting a credit card number. Canon knows about this problem and will not stand behind their product. I'm very disappointed in Canon and will not risk buying another Canon product.
Customer service consists of an automated phone line. You never get to speak to a real person.
