Pixma G4200 Support Code B204

Our G4200 printer that we bought in late 2017 just started throwing this error and now won't do anything.

I just filled all four tanks, and I don't have a local Canon service center... 

I'm using an iMac with OS 11.2.3, but I think this is a printer thing... 

Is there anything I can do to rectify the error?

Power off, unplug for a few minutes, reconnect to power and turn on again.  

If the error persists, the printer is done.

The B204 error is an indication that your G4200 would require service.  You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.
