I was trying to copy a music score, but on larger paper so it is easier to read. My CanoScan 9000F MkII generated an excellent scan, and I used image software to create an image in black/white. Viewed on my PC display, the image was perfect.
However, when printed it was obvious that the black was being rendered as a dark grey. I'm using genuine BCI-3eBK cartridge (and the associated BCI-6x color cartridges).
I fiddled with some of the color settings (setting the black color balance to +50) but my printouts were still grey/white.
Any suggestions for things I can try next time?
