My Canon ip8720 thinks it's printing but nothing is actually happening. The Print Center says it's printing and the power light on the printer itself flashes for the duration of what would be the printing cycle but the machine does not actually function. I've tried different paper sizes but no luck. It's been one week since I last used it and it was working fine then. No changes in software or computer. I downloaded and re-installed the current driver. No change. Input appreciated.

Problem solved. I had switched to a different image file than what I printed last week but was still using the same paper and profile. Somehow, though, the driver switched to a different paper and that small detail prevented the machine from working.
