PIXMA TS3522 printer: E05 error message

Tatyana817

My canon printer (ts3522) keeps showing E05 error.  I’ve changed the cartridges, I try to reset but it will not move from the blinking E 0 5 on the screen. The light above the black ink light is on & the black ink & color ink light is on. I thought changing the ink cartridges would make it go away but the issue continues. I haven’t used it in a while so it has been collecting dust but I don’t or didn’t think that was an issue. I cannot get it to connect to my internet or ANYTHING just because it keeps flashing E 0 5. I need answers!!!! Not trying to spend a whole lot just trying to fix it myself any way I can.

Hi Tatyana817,

First, please make sure you are using geniune Canon ink cartridges.

Next, please ensure you are using ink cartridges that are compatible with your PIXMA TS3522.  Those are:

PG-275
CL-276
PG-275XL
CL-276XL

Also, both ink cartridges must be inserted.  You cannot use the PIXMA TS3522 with only one ink cartridge inserted.

Lastly, please take the ink cartridges out of your printer and look on the bottom of each ink cartridge to make sure that the orange tape was removed.

.

If you have performed these steps with multiple sets of color and black ink cartridges and the E 0 5 error persists, your PIXMA TS3522 would require service.

If your PIXMA TS3522 was purchased less than a year ago, please contact one of Canon's Technical Support Representatives via phone or chat to obtain your in warranty options. To contact a Technical Support Representative, please use the link below to log into your My Canon account:
