PIXMA TS3522 - Saying No ink - E04 code

Hello! I recently installed new ink cartridges on my CAnon Ts3522. It is saying no ink for both black and color. I have tried cleaning the sensors, resetting it, powering off, and nothing is working. Every once in awhle that code with turn off and then it flashes the E04 code.

Are both ink cartridges that you are using genuine Canon ink cartridges?

If they are not, it is recommended that Canon ink cartridges are used.
