PIXMA TS3420 printer has not been identifying inks error E15

I have been facing this issue for a month now, the Canon TS3420 printer suddenly stopped recognizing the inks (246 & 245). AT first it was both black and color ink and then I got a new one then it was the color one then again I purchased one from Canon specifically and then again the same issue E15, color ink. Is there something wrong with the printer ? Is this a known issue with this model?
