I have just purchased a Canon TR4722 printer/scanner. When I scan using the feeder for the first time of the day, I get an error message, "A scan error has occurred". When I place the document in the feeder again for the second time it will scan fine. This is an consistent frustrating error. Any experience with this issue?

Hi woodki1,
Please follow these to attempt to resolve the scanning issue you are experiecing:
1. Please press the wrench and screwdriver button on your PIXMA TR4722 one time.
2. Use the right arrow to select Device settings and press OK.
3. Use the right arrow to select LAN settings and press OK.
4. Press OK on Wi-Fi.
5. Use the arrow to select Enable/disable Wi-Fi and press OK.
6. Use the arrow to select Enable and press OK.
7. Use the arrow to select Manual setup and press OK.
8. Use the arrow to select TCP/IP settings and press OK.
9. Use the arrow to select IPv6 and press OK and press OK again.
10. On Enable/disable IPv6, press OK.
11. Use the arrow to select Disable and press OK
"Processing" will appear
12. Once that goes away, please turn your PIXMA TR4722 off.
13. Please go to your router and unplug the power cord.
14. Wait 15 seconds and then reconnect the power cord to your router.
15. Once your Wi-Fi network is ready again, please turn your PIXMA TR4722 back on.
The scanning issue should be resolved.
