Never have I been so disappointed in a product and its customer service. I bought this printer 8/4 and tried to use the fax feature Tuesday. It did not go well and has knocked out my phone service. I have tried multiple customer service numbers and been told my product is out of warranty, I'm not giving the right product number or I just get hung up on. I tried the online help and was told I had to contact my phone company but this is a Canon issue. I want to just toss the thing. I have always had HP all in ones but thought I'd try one with cheaper ink. I see why it's cheaper. No service. Any ideas on how to remove the fax feature from my computer?

"Remove the fax feature from the computer"? Just don't use it. Unplug the phone line from the printer.
