PIXMA TR4520: Scanning to Chromebook

My wife has a Chromebook. We successfully connected the TR4520 using Google Cloud Print so she can print from the Chromebook (2 hours due to bad setup instructions that came with printer), but there is no info in the manuals on how to scan from the printer to a chromebook. The ij Utility does not appear to have a chrome OS version. I have not yet tried to scan using the iOS app from an iPhone, has anybody figured out any other way to scan?

Hi florida_printer,

Only printing is supported when using your PIXMA TR4520 with a Chromebook.  To scan, please use the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app on a mobile device such as iPad/iPhone or Android tablet.
