I have a PIXMA MX330 Canon All-in-one printer. The alarm light is flashing with the code 5B00. What is the fix for this? I took it to Geek squad and they were unable to fix it.

Greetings,
This printer is 15 yrs old. The error means the waste ink absorber pads are full. The pads are not user serviceable and special software is needed to reset the ink counters.
Consider the Canon upgrade program which provides a small discount and free shipping on a new device. After 15 years, I'm sure you've received a good return on your investment. Upgrade Department: You can reach them weekdays and Saturdays at 1-866-443-8002.
Let them know you have an older printer that is no longer serviceable.
