Hi everybody,
I am new to printers, printing and this forum.
Yestarday I bought a canon pixma inkjet MP287 all in one printer. I installed it and it is working fine.
My querry is; I have heard that, if I don't use my printer often, the ink in the cartridge gets dry and eventually my printer becomes useless. Is it true? How often should I use or take prints to keep my printer working. I am asking this, because, I don't usually have the need to print daily. Very occasionally it becomes necessary to print some black & white documents. Otherwise I don't need to print often. So my printer usually has to stay idle. So, I am afraid, I would spoil my printer, by not using it. So kindly inform me, as to how many prints need to be taken, in a week or fortnight. Or is it necessary to take a print atleast one a day. I would be thankfull for getting this information.
Thanks & Regards
Anilkumar

Hey, I just watched a blog that said you should print one to two pages per week. Talking about an inkjet here.
