PIXMA MG7720 prints blank pages

I have a canon MG7720 that's been printing blank pages. I tried all the cleanings, even manually cleaning the printhead. It was giving me issues prior to this as well, alignment issues and streaks on photo paper. I did get an error that said printer needs repair but I'm not sure what the issue is exactly. When I hit print, it does everything it should but I get a blank page.

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The PIXMA MG7720 is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!
