Hello,
I've had my PIXMA MG7520 printer for a few years.
It suddenly decided to stop scanning. It will still print.
The error it gives me is saying that I need to restart everything and/or re-install the printer driver, all of which I've done.
I installed the ICA driver from https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/inkjet-multifunction/mg-s... , but I'm still getting an error.
Is there something else I need to do with regard to a driver?
Thank you!
I'm scanning with Image Capture on a MacOS Catalina 10.15.7.

Hi stephlee123,
Please follow these steps:
1. Click on the Apple in the upper left corner.
2. Click on System Preferences.
3. Click on Printers & Scanners.
4. Click 1 time on the Canon MG7500 on the left side.
5. On the right side, click on the Scanner tab and then the Open Scanner button.
Are you able to scan?
If not, what error code appears at the bottom of the error message that you get?
