Hi, I am getting error 2, 156, 50 when trying to use my new MG3650 scanner. Clearly the scanner is warming up but the message refers to lack of USB or power connectivity both of which are hooked up. (Printing OK). Do we have an answer pls?? Clearly this is a fairly common issue but I am yet to find an answer. Thank you.

Just to clarify, i did everything mentioned and suggested, new usb port, cable and what else i did. Uninstalled everything, but its not working. Happend since i changed the drivers to windows 10 64bit version. Is there something wrong in those drivers? Should we return to the windows 10 32 bit version, if so is that possible with a windows 10 64 bit OS?

I think I finally solved it, maybe it's a conflict with the Microsoft Windows 11 driver, with this .bat file launched before the scan, it's fine:
@echo off
sc config stisvc start= disabled
sc stop stisvc
echo The stisvc service has been disabled and stopped.
pause
