PIXMA G6020 No screen light

I cannot believe the G6020 printer has no LED screen light. It is a shame that I have to use a flashlight to see anything on a screen. How cheap.... Also. Trying to get to this point of being able to post a message was unbelievably hard for this 69-year-old man. Verify, re-verify, etc. Anything to make it harder for the consumer.

I have the same issues here too. When i set it up and everything ..bought it from amazon and all.  i noticed the lcd screen background had no light to read. how difficult was that doesnt matter the age. anyone's eyes can not read like this i had to use flashlight or phone light etc. its ridiculous, my old printer have light lcd screen . doesnt make sense?
