On my old windows pc I could connect using a lead from my printer. How do I achieve this on Chromebook?
Any suggestions please?

Google offers limited support for printers with ChromeOS. The following might help:

Many thanks for the reply. I am now of the opinion that my pPixma is not compatible with my new device?
