I just set up my new Canon PIXMA MX922 on my Wi-FI network...
I installed all of the availabe drivers on an Apple desktop computer, which is connected via USB, and have verified that I can scan with both the Canon IJ Scan Utility and Apple's Image Capture.
I want to do the same on my Apple Macbook laptop (OS X 10.11.6), connected to the printer via Wi-Fi, and thus installed both the MX920 series Scanner driver and the Mac ICA Driver, as I had done for the desktop.
Unfortunately, I can only get the scan to work via the IJ Scan Utility, but using Apple's Image Capture (which I'm used to and prefer), I get the infamous "Scanner Reported an Error" message, giving about half a dozen possible reasons, none of which should apply. I tried a restart, just to make sure there wasn't some remnant of when I tested the IJ Scan Utility monopolizing the scanner; and when I brought up Image Capture, I still got the error.
Any ideas? Thanks!

Hello.
We can only support scanning with our IJ Scan Utility program. However, you need to ensure that the ICA driver is installed in order to be able to use Image Capture with the product. Visit the following link to access the download:
