I have a Pixma 6820 inkjet that works well, but I can't get it to print on stickers. It loads the paper, makes some internal noise for about 20 seconds, and then shoots the paper out without trying to print.
Previously when printing on Avery sticker sheets I'd have to trim the "wax paper backing", as I had read that the print head sensor got confused by that. And when I would do that, it would print just fine.
But now I'm printing on full-page labels that don't have the backing paper around the edges, the full width of the sheet is sticker paper. And still it is doing the same thing.
I feel like this printer should just be able to print on stickers, and I don't really want to go to the trouble of trimming the edge around 100 sheets of paper just to get my printer to accept the pages.
Any ideas for how to get the printer to cooperate with label paper?
