Need driver for Pixma iP1600 running on Windows 8?

It seems that Canon does not have a driver for iP1600.  Is there a way to get a driver? Will a Windows 7 driver work on Windows 8?

Hi Old-Eagle,

Windows 8 drivers are not planned for the PIXMA iP1600.  Windows 7 drivers will not work with Windows 8.
