Hi Canon,
I'm experiencing a problem with my PIXMA MG 8220. Around July I noticed that whenever I went to shut down my printer, the blue light in front of my printer would continue to flash, and the shut down message would appear on my printer screen, but it would not shut down even though I would leave it for a long time.
Before, the shut down would complete in less than a minute after I hit the power button. Now, all I can do is unplug my printer or else it stays blinking and preparing to turn off eternally. Is there something I can do in order to fix this problem? The printer does not display any error messages, but every time I turn on the printer, it will show that my printer has not been shut down properly (which I know!). Is there a way to fix this?
Thank you.
