I have tried everything to get my printer to print in just black and white. It will print text that is black just fine, but it will not print out a black and white image. The image that I am trying to print is just an outline of something and it is black. Can someone please help me with this.
Also, my color cartridge may be dried up or almost empty, but I have no use for color and only bought it once for a specific reason. And I do not want to spend the money on a new color cartridge, due to the fact that I have not need to print anything with color.

Hello.
When photos or graphics are printed, the printer will use the color cartridge to create grays or composite blacks. The black cartridge is used when text documents are printed on plain paper.
Please replace the empty color cartridge to continune printing your photos.
