MX 870 ink problem

My MX 870 won't print the magenta ink. I've tried several regular and deep cleanings from the setup menu but no luck. Can I manually clean the print head? If so, what steps do I need to take?

Hi JBarry,

We do not recommend performing a manual cleaning of the print head, as this may do damage to the print head or printer. Since the print head cleanings did not work, you can try to perform a print head alignment on the printer to see if this will get the magenta ink to print.  To do this, please follow the steps located at the link below:
