I bought a Canon MX432 Printer for my parents. Unfortunately when they try to scan someting after following the prompts says, "Please wate a while." Nothing ever scans. Otherwise the printer works. I have tried reinstalling the printer, but it says the same thing. Has anyone else had this problem and / or know the solution?

Hello.
In addition to the drivers, make sure that the MP Navigator program is installed for the unit. This program controls the scanner.
Visit www.usa.canon.com and search for your MX432 to access the downloads.
