Hi, I got a new laptop running windows 10. Downloaded the drives from canon, but I cannot connect the printer to the laptop. Keep getting an error of "new port cannot be created 0000"
Tried to uninstall and re-install, but no changes. Any help I can get?

Greetings,
Start here:
Download the driver for your printer.

Now read and following the examples in this thread using the file from your printer.
Once you run the CNMNPU.EXE utility, the software will be able to create the port.
I have confirmed the utility is avaialble in the driver download for your printer.
