MG5422 Wireless Setup

I recently purchased the MG5422 to print CD/DVD labels and am having trouble connecting wirelessly. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimum 64-bit and trying to connect using my Verizon FIOS router. I know the router name and password but cannot get them to work. The router is found by the printer. I also cannot find instructions on connecting wirelessly in the onscreen manual.

Please supply the needed instructions.  Thank you.

I also need the instructions for wireless connection of this printer...Not intuitive at all.  Menus are very confusing.
