MG 3522 printer can't align

BigPlayDave

Please help!

I have a MG 3522 printer and no matter what I've tried, I can't get the lines aligned. Situation mysteriously appeared, and I've tried almost 10 times to auto-align print heads, manually align, hard reset the machine, etc.

For clarity, if I print a calendar page in landscape mode, hold the paper in landscape orientation, the lines that go from left to right appear to jump down and then back up as they go across the page. Kind of like this:

____------______------______------______------

____------______------______------______------

Note that (in landscape orientation) the vertical lines are perfectly straight. In Portrait mode, the vertical lines are skewed, while the horizontal lines are straight.

Thanks in advance for any help!!

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The PIXMA MG3522 is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!

You can also speak with a Canon Upgrade Program specialist to help you score a modern replacement that would meet your current needs at a discount. You can reach them Monday through Friday at 1-866-443-8002.

Hope this helps!
