I am Using hot mail account ( but have seen the same issue posted from Gmail accounts with no real answers) I have Maxify MB2720 printer, and email sever connection was working until Oct 2023. Nothing changed it just stopped connecting and giving me the error 3423. I check and test from the User Interface and it passes. I then go back to printer and try again but get the same error. Did Hotmail change something or did Cannon change their driver?
