Lines in printing even after alignment, cleaning and ink cartridge changes

Please help! I've tried aligning, cleaning and replacing ink cartridges. B&W prints fine. Thanks!

Hi hilaryannerhode.

 

Try performing a roller cleaning, to ensure paper is being fed properly.  Also, remove and inspect the top of each ink tank. Ensure the vent at the end of each label is unobstructed, and that the brightly colored protective tape has been fully removed from each.

 

Once that's been done, perform a nozzle check.  If any of the inks are streaked or not printing, perform a deep cleaning followed by another nozzle check to look for improvement.  If printing to particularly thick or rigid paper, you may wish to enable the Prevent Paper Abrasion setting, to give more clearance for the paper being fed through.  Disable the setting when printing on standard papers (such as plain paper).
