Keep getting these crappy crop prints on my Pixma mg2522

Everytime I go to print a photo 4x6 on my mg2522 I keep getting these awful borders. I can't adjust the size so it would fill the photo paper. I need a full size print. I have adjust the print and selected borderless but i keep getting these messed up borders.

Hi rippemup,

The PIXMA MG2522 is not capable of printing a borderless photo.  Photos printed with your PIXMA MG2522 will have a border.

To print a photo with even borders, please try using Easy-PhotoPrint EX.

Easy-PhotoPrint EX can be downloaded using the following link:

https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/support-inkjet-printer/mg...

Once that page loads, click on Drivers & Downloads and then the Software tab.

Oh Canon ... you did it again.

Why would you create a printer without the capacity for borderless printing? My mom bought the MG2522 ... and I just spent an hour trying to help her printout her Christmas insert with background image ... without the stupid uneven borders... If we anted borders, we would of created one.

You silly website kept telling me it was possible. Your software shows the option ... and then we'd get to print ... and every time it would show a border!

For reference: https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART159300

Perhaps ... you should put a disclaimer for this specific unit and warn people it cannot do what every other printer in the world can, so I don't have to keep hoping for an hour to solve my mom's issue ... and then have to search the blogs to see this.

It's rude and a waste of people's time ... you should be ashamed of yourself.

Oh, and it aslo doesn't have wifi ... I mean what is this 1995?

Definitely will not recommend this printer to anyone ...

EVER ... EVER ... EVER.
