My IX6770 A3+ printer had only printed around 25000 prints. I received one B200 errors once every 3 months or so but they went away after I turned off and turned on the printer.
Two weeks ago, the printer was about to print a document when it came up with the error code 1403, I went and bought a new printhead from Canon but the printer still reported 1403. Further the printer reported error 1403 even there was no printhead installed (it should be 1401).
Local tech's found that the on top of the printhead the logic board of the printer has failed. The newly bought print head or the tech's testing head was not killed by the faulty board (Thank God). I have both head and logic board with me. I would like to send it to Canon, because I think this issue needs to investigated.
