I have a Cannon PIXMA MP560 printer, and an Apply with an X.6.8.


I keep getting the error message to fill the paper tray.  The tray is full. The printer won't print.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello mrh.


Please try the following to see if we can resolve your issue:


1.  Turn the printer off.

2.  Unplug the power from the printer for at least 5-10 minutes.

3.  While unplugged, remove any paper from the unit.

4.  Double check for any obstructions found in the unit or paper paths.  It may be possible that there is an obstruction in the rear tray.

5.  If no obstructions are found, plug the power back in and turn the unit on.

6.  Load a single sheet of paper into the rear tray and try printing again.
