Despite following the Canon instructions that came with my Pixma MX 525 ie; pulling down the horizontal bars that apparently hold the cartrdges in place, I can't extract the used ink cartridges bacause they are blocked by a downward projecting lug on the frame above the cartridges. This is ridiculous, I've been trying for over 15 minutes but no joy. Surely Canon wouldn't have made it this difficult.?
