I was disappointed to find that there is no Windows 11 driver for my perfectly good Pixma printer. Apparently the printers are only supported for 10 years. I plan to buy another one, but I want to make sure it will be supported for a long time. Where can I find that information?
Thanks!

I tried to use drivers for older operating systems. They would not install.
I ultimately called Canon and asked when a couple of the printers I was interested in were introduced. They were each introduced at the end of 2021 so I assume they have 9 years of support.

End of official "support" does not mean a printer is no longer usable. Any printer that works with Windows 10 very likely works the same with Windows 11. Same goes for many other devices and their software.
Don't be afraid to try installing software for Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 10 in Windows 11.
