When you have the print dialog box open, select preferences, then change the media type to 'Other papers'>'T-shirt transfers.' This should mirror the image.

I'm trying to print reverse lettering ..to transfer onto a surface (not fabric)...but I could still utilize the t-shirt

Yeah, it's the only setting that will mirror it. What kind of paper are you using?
