How can I set up B&W printing only on a Canon MG6250?

New member looking to see if anyone knows how to set up a Canon MG6250 to print only in B&W?  I used to have an option that let me select grayscale only which allowed B&W printing, but a SW update took away that funtionality.  Now I have colored ink cartridges running out and I cannot print without replacing them even though I am only printing in B&W.  Taking the cartridge out and placing it back in does not work.  Powering off and on does not work.  I just want to print out a couple of B&W pages and have lots of black ink.  Any suggestions on who to print only in B&W would be appreciated.
