Half page printing

Hi all, the issue of half page printing appears common over the Canon range of Ink jet printers. I too have one, only bought a couple of months ago. Thought it was great, but then the other day the bottom half of.each page is either missing random patches or missing.

Would someone please let me have instruction to fix this or what ever.
