I bought this printer back in 2023 and have been using it on and off. I bought it specifically for the ink tank with the expectations that if I use it regularly like once a month the ink will not dry up and will not need a head replacement.
Fast forward to a week ago, my printer stopped printing. I did the cleaning/deep cleaning to no result, I then read some troubleshooting tips to do a ink test, noticed that Black was not printing. Then I followed another tip to wipe the print head with alcohol which I did, then got partial results. I then soaked the print head in alcohol for a few minutes and it somehow made it go backwards where the it didn't print black or with worse performance. Is my only option now to just buy a new head replacement?

After some further testing, it might be an issue with the black ink supply line itself. I attempted to do a ink flush on the black ink but after checking with the ink test and looking at the ink level, nothing has changed. No ink seems to enter the black printer head at all now. I assumed if the supply line was working it would feed ink into the printer head regardless of whether it was clogged or not and only stop if it was full. But from after handling the black print head, it feels empty compared to the color print head.
