Error Code:5,156,69 Printer Model: PIXMA MG2550S

I just bought a Canon PIXMA MG2550S today. But I found there is a mistake that occured when I am trying to use the scanning function. 

 

I have tried for half of a day but finally, I am exhausted. and failed.  Every time when I use ScanGear, it always shows the reminding sentences as " there is an error for my cable connection but it is not true. in fact, my printing function is fine. Do you have any troubleshooting for my questions as stated above?

Why such a  small drive issue, posted in the Canon Community website for over 2 weeks, there is still no response from the Canon side????

 

Canon's after-service response time is too slow and neglected. 

 

I don't know how Canon manages its service team.???
